On October 9th at The Meadows in Brooklyn Skateboard Marketing Ltd. celebrated their 35th anniversary of
the company. Ironically Metal Contraband turned 10 years old. There was a massive double anniversary party for
both companies. It was a private event with music industry and friends coming together for a party. There was a
all star jam which included some of the New York greats who were at the forefront of the scene from the very
beginning. In the audience was Wolfgang Busch film director for Echoes Of The Sound Of New York City with
his business partner Darryl Hell which featured us on episode 6 of the documentary.
We also would like to thank lagunitas for sponsoring Trooper Beer at the bar for the night. You made this very
special for not only us but all our guests for the evening.
Along with many radio personalities & media outlets including WSOU, WHPC & WDHA Ghost Cult Magazine,
Metal Sucks &Rockers Doctors especially for the coverage. All made attendence to have drinks and celebrate.
We could not have asked for a better and more fitting party. We can not thank everyone enough especially the
event staff at The Meadows for making this possible. Their staff and security people were nothing short of fabulous.
